Henri Weber (born 23 June 1944) is a French politician and Member of the European Parliament for the north-west of France. He is a member of the Socialist Party (PS), which is part of the Party of European Socialists, and sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Culture and Education. Weber was born in Khujand (Leninabad) Tajikistan, Soviet Union, from Jewish parents. His father was a watchmaker. Henri Weber was an activist in the May 1968 uprising and was a leading member of the Trotskyist ''Jeunesse communiste révolutionnaire'' (Revolutionary Communist Youth) and Revolutionary Communist League (LCR) before joining the PS.
